Julie Kreisler
President
  Throughout her career, Julie Kreisler has shown the innate ability to identify marketing trends and to create innovative advertising programs to build her clients’ businesses.

For her, it all starts with a customized results-oriented strategy regardless if the business is a Fortune 500 company or a promising startup.

Kreisler started The Kreisler Group in 2006 inspired by this simple but powerful philosophy of customized service.

TKG accommodates a growing list of corporate clients by offering full service creative and media advertising services for TV, radio, print, corporate, including public relations programs.  Most recently, TKG launched the TV, print and online campaign for the North America brand launch of Fisher & Paykel and DCS by Fisher & Paykel Appliances.

After graduating from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Kreisler helped grow the lifestyle magazine Image through bringing in new advertisers in industry verticals such as home improvement, health, fitness, and medical.

In 2000, Kreisler created online, print, and television advertising campaigns for AOL Time Warner properties. She also pioneered the Video-On-Demand advertising program in being the first in the division to sell VOD to Memorial Care, one of the largest hospital groups in southern California. In 2005, Kreisler joined Ocean Media, which also focused on a results-oriented approach for leading national media planning and buying strategies.

As an integral part of the firm’s team, Kreisler worked with clients Fisher & Paykel Appliances, Overstock.com, Priceline, and E-Harmony.

Leslie Perryman
Marketing Specialist
  Leslie Perryman comes to TKG with an artistic eye and a fresh perspective. Perryman is a graduate from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing as well as a minor in Fashion Merchandising and Design. Her affinity for marketing and advertising came about during her undergraduate studies.

With professional experience at both Neiman Marcus and Michael Stars, Perryman had the opportunity to expand her knowledge in the field of business. These experiences allowed her to obtain the fundamental tools for success necessary for the Advertising Industry. Management, marketing, public relations and customer care make up a snapshot of her experiences preceding The Kreisler Group.

She joined The Kreisler Group in 2008 as Media Assistant. Now Marketing Specialist, Perryman has been working closely with local clients in public relations and marketing strategies since starting with the agency.

 

 


George Pappas Back

George Pappas has been an award-winning PR practitioner for more than 12 years, following a career as a newspaper reporter and editor. Pappas is respected for his ability to recognize news angles and capture top-caliber media hits.

Pappas’ PR career has included work in a wide variety of industries, including extensive work in the fields of health care and consumer technology.

Pappas’ success is due, in part, to his strong background in journalism. His journalism career included reporting and editing stints at the Whittier Daily News, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Pasadena Star-News, the Palos Verdes Peninsula News, and the Newport Ensign & Costa Mesa News.

Pappas’ list of awards also includes the prestigious PRISM Award from the Public Relations Society of America, two PROTOS awards from the Orange County PRSA, the Silver Award from the Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Association, and several awards from the Press Club of Southern California and the Orange County Fair Journalism Contest.

Pappas holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach.

Geoffrey Kutnick is the newest addition at The Kreisler Group and brings a specific skill set aiming to help our clients communicate more effectively using Internet platforms. As a member of Generation Y, his background regarding the World Wide Web started at a very young age. It is his desire for learning that allows him to excel in a field that changes every day.

Kutnick joins The Kreisler Group with a wealth of experience within the Internet Marketing and Public Relations fields including: The Inland Empire Jazz Festival, University by the Sea Sustainability Festival, Smolar Corporation, Daily 49er Newspaper and the local Long Beach Food and Beverage industry. He celebrates being of California State University of Long Beach Alma Mater with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations.

Kutnick joined The Kreisler Group team in 2009 as our New Media Specialist.

  • MRI – It has been the industry standard for many years. MRI assists us in locating more precise information about the lifestyle and habits of your target audience. In addition, this data allows indexing and ranking of many measures, including but not limited to cable networks, programs and program types.
  • Simmons – Simmons is regaining its influence among advertising agencies. They offer a similar service to MRI, however, there is a marked difference in their use of Psychographic questions which allow a deeper and more comprehensive view of the thoughts and opinions of a particular target audience.
  • Nielsen Media Research – Nielsen monitors TV viewership and produces ratings that allow us to determine if a spot secured an expected rating promised during the buy process. Additionally, their research enables us to keep abreast of GRPs purchased.
  • TNS (CMR) – This service provides a glimpse of where and when your competitors may be advertising, how much they are spending, and what messages they are sending to their audiences offline.

Kreisler_logo SUCCESSFUL PROMOTION OF A NEW ZEALAND-BASED COMPANY
Through targeted national and regional marketing and public relations campaigns, we overcame the added challenge of promoting a New Zealand-based company that has only in the past few years become well known among U.S. consumers. This was achieved through the introduction of its unique home appliances, including the DishDrawerÒ Dishwasher, EcoSmartÔ washer, and in this current year, CoolDrawer refrigerator and CookSurface cooktop.

Fisher & Paykel’s sales performance is all the more impressive considering U.S. retail sales of major appliances slipped 1.6 % to $25.6 billion in 2007, while unit volume remained essentially flat year-over-year, off just 0.2% to 64.1 million units. By contrast, the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM), which tracks manufacturers' shipments through all channels of distribution, paints a less rosy picture of the industry in reporting that total unit volume declined 6.3%.
